if green light were scattered less often than any other frequency of light, what color would the sky appear at sunset?

The blue color of the sky is caused by the scattering of sunlight off the molecules of the atmosphere. This scattering, called Rayleigh scattering, is more effective at short wavelengths (the blue end of the visible spectrum). A reduction in the green spectrum would probably not have a large effect on the sky color.
