    After ATP is used for energy can it be converted to anything else?

  2. Energy in the body is formed when ATP is broken down into ADP. This reaction is therefore exothermic. Thus, the reverse reaction is going to be endothermic because energy is required in order to attach the phosphate to the ADP.
